Samsung's next Galaxy Note will probably look like this

Samsung's next Galaxy Note phone has yet to receive an official announcement, but the device has already accumulated its fair share of leaks and rumors. The latest news is a set of product images from reputable leaker Evan Blass showing off the phone in three different finishes, including Black Onyx, Silver Titanium, and Blue Cora. We're expecting Samsung to unveil the device some time next month, and these images are the clearest look yet at its appearance.

The device is expected to ship with a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display incorporating the dual-edge nature of the Galaxy S7 Edge, as well as 6GB of RAM, a rather large 3,600mAh to 4,000mAh battery, and a 12 megapixel camera. One all-but-confirmed feature unique to the next Note is a new iris scanner, which will employ eye-tracking technology to let you unlock your phone according to recent Samsung patent applications.

THE NEXT NOTE MAY HAVE AN IRIS SCANNER FOR UNLOCKING YOUR PHONE WITH YOUR EYES

These new leaked images seem to suggest a front-facing sensor setup to support the iris scanner, with two openings on either side of the front-facing camera. Images obtained by Android Authority showcasing a physical front panel confirm openings for the iris scanner as well.
